Hint – If we burn rope from one side it will burn for 60 minutes, so if we burn it from both side then it should burn completely in 30 minutes.

Here you go –

1. At start burn Rope1 from both sides and Rope2 from only one side.

2. After 30 minutes, Rope1 will completely burn out. Lit Rope2 from other side as well.

3. At 45 minutes, Rope2 will also burn out completely.

Hence 45 minutes are measured using two non uniform Ropes 🙂
