Candidate Profile and Criteria

• This recruitment of Barclays is for candidates who have B.E./B.Tech, Master degree or equivalent.
• Strong Core Java Knowledge.
• Test tool knowledge – Jira.
• Well versed Automation Testing concepts. Flexible in working on both Development and Automation testing.
• Experience of automating web, mobile and API.
• Experience of working within a regulatory driven change environment.
• Good knowledge in Database queries.

Key Skills:

• Strong Core Java Knowledge
• Experience using project and dependency management tools such as Maven.
• Working in an Agile Environment
• Reporting of defects and issues, interact closely with DEV & QA team members
• Good Unix background and ability to write basic shell scripts
• Experience in handling Collections, JDBC, Multi-threading.
• Experience in writing Automation Framework (Cucumber, Selenium)
• Hands on knowledge in automating Web and API (SOAP, REST and Micro Services).
• Experience in writing unit test cases.
• Hands on knowledge of associated technologies such as Java, Selenium, Database.
• Experience in developing web services using JAX-WS, JAX-RS,JAX-B and  Java web-frameworks
• Knowledge on HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience using Junit for unit testing
• SQL query writing using Oracle would be added advantage
• Proven ability to build effective internal relationships
• Strong analytical skills including ability to provide observations and comment
• Wider-thinking and problem solving – identifying and delivering reporting through own initiative.
• Understanding of change management process.
• Certification from relevant technology provider (preferable)
